Sources and modes, undergraduates
In 2001 and 2006, the FEUQ published a major study on the sources and modes of financing of graduate students, the only study of its type available in Quebec. This study, based on a large poll from a representative sample of graduates all across Quebec, has allowed the FEUQ to create an accurate and detailed portrait of the living conditions of graduate students. The relevance and wide distribution of this study has created a desire to get similar data for undergraduate students. There was also a major lack in terms of accurate data on the living conditions of undergraduate students.
Hence, the FEUQ wishes to realise a far-reaching poll that aims to get an accurate portrait of the living conditions and the sources and modes of financing of undergraduate students in Quebec. Those informations will allow the FEUQ, and the unviersity community at large, to understand the reality of undergraduate students and move forward realistic and facts-based propositions based on the needs of students.
The FEUQ has associated itself with Léger Marketing to realise this poll. It will be launched all across Quebec February 15 : participants can win one of three bursaries offered by the Desjardins Foundation or a trip sponsored by FAÉCUM. The study was made possible through the financial contribution of the Canadian Millenium Scholarship Foundation.
